צלה tslh verb with two major meanings "hurry" or "prosper", in Am 5:6 (sole occurrence in the book) the versions have rendered by words meaning "burn", so in the past commentators often emended the text, cognate languages use hurrying words to describe fire - in a dry climate this is not surprising!
