קשׁר qshr "bind together, conspire" either with the simple sense of tying together or with the sense of persons conspiring against someone else. In Am 7:10 (its only use in the book) it is not clear with whom Amos is accused of "conspiring". Perhaps קשׁר carried also the more general sense of subversion.
