מְעֹנָה
me`onah "dwelling
place" most often of either an animal hence the traditional "den"
or of Adonai (reference to heaven). In Am 3:4 it is used of a lion, since
lions have no "den" being always on the move, I have used "hiding
place", for lions eating will sometimes seek not to be seen by vultures which
may want to share the prey. (Hope)
